BYKKO’s expansion into the tourism and hospitality sector continues to grow with Western Australia’s Joondalup Resort the latest venue to add e-bikes to their onsite facilities.
BYKKO Managing Director Monica Zarafu says e-bikes are a great addition to the recreation facilities at resorts, hotels and holiday parks.
“We are fielding interest from across Australia to provide e-bikes for a range of tourism providers. With the current focus on domestic travel, providers are looking to enhance their visitor experience by adding e-bikes to the traditional guest facilities.”
“Joondalup Resort joins Atlantis Marcoola on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and Veriu Hotels in Sydney as providing BYKKO e-bikes for guest use and they are a great alternative to hiring a car.”
Joondalup Resort General Manager, Justin Peters says visitor experience is the resort’s top priority and adding e-bikes to the recreation offering at the resort made perfect sense.
“Having e-bikes brings our guests even closer to the glorious Sunset Coast with the coastal path only a few minutes ride from Joondalup Resort. More adventurous riders can easily ride to Mullaloo Beach or even Hillarys Marina for the day”
Six e-bikes will be available for guests from Friday 1 October 2021 to hire from the new self-serve station. The guests will need to set up an account at go.bykko.net and simply scan the QR code at the station to unlock a bike. Payments can be made by debit or credit card. Riders can also top-up their accounts with any amount for future rentals. The bikes must be returned at the Joondalup Resort station.
